A platform born from the real needs of retail

Talks to your ERP if you have one, doesn't wait if you don't

The platform runs fully standalone. Ready two-way sync of variable data with SAP, LOGO, Mikro, 1C, jRetail, Venüt and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

What if the internet goes down? Nothing stops.

Products, prices, campaigns and cashier permissions are cached at the register. Selling continues; data syncs once the connection is back.

Every critical operation passes an approval flow

Price changes, campaigns, stocktakes, purchasing — multi-level approvals built in a visual process designer, approved with one tap from the mobile app.

Certified e-Kassa application (Azerbaijan)

Certified through the Azerbaijan e-Kassa integration: sales, refunds, shifts and X/Z reports with automatic fiscalization. Ready bank card terminal connection.

Equipment that works with Kalem Platform

The platform works out of the box with barcode scanners, ESC/POS receipt printers, ZPL/TSPL label printers, scales, customer displays and Android handhelds. Mits selects, installs and supports this equipment.

From pilot to chain, a measured rollout

Proven in one store first, then rolled out across the chain; training and support continue throughout.

  1. 01

    Analysis

Branches, registers, users and integration needs are mapped together; modules and a plan are selected.

  2. 02

    Setup

Your own isolated environment is prepared. Product and customer data is imported from CSV or your ERP.

  3. 03

    Pilot store

Registers, terminals and fiscal devices are connected in one store; the team is trained and the setup is validated with real sales.

  4. 04

    Chain rollout

Registers are updated centrally and branches are connected in stages. Live support and monitoring continue.

Frequently asked questions

Does Kalem Platform replace our ERP?

No. Kalem is the layer that runs live retail operations. Ready two-way integration exists with ERPs such as SAP, LOGO, Mikro, 1C and Dynamics 365; without an ERP, the platform works fully in standalone mode.

Does the register work when the internet is down?

Yes. Products, prices, campaigns, customers and cashier permissions are cached at the register. Sales are queued and sync automatically once the connection returns.

Which devices does it run on?

Existing Windows PCs at the register, Android 7+ handhelds (Zebra, Honeywell, Unitech, Newland) and ordinary phones in the warehouse, and any browser for the back office. No dedicated server required.

Where is our data stored?

A separate PostgreSQL database is created for every customer. In the cloud deployment data stays in an isolated environment; if you prefer, the platform can also run on your own servers (on-premises).

How long does the rollout take?

The environment is provisioned automatically. A pilot store typically starts selling shortly after the analysis; the chain rollout is planned in stages according to the number of branches and the integration scope.

Which languages are available?

The register, back office, mobile terminal and customer app work in Azerbaijani, Turkish and English. Every user picks their own language.
